Reply: There is a celebration that commemorates the dead, it is originally from Mexico but it is already important in most countries of America. The Day of the Dead, the celebration has its origins in the indigenous cultures of thousands of years ago, influenced in particular by the Aztecs or Mexicas.

Celebrations vary from region to region, but some elements are universal. People usually place photos of their deceased loved ones on an ofrenda or altar, along with their favorite foods or beverages.

It is commemorated on November 2, when it is believed that the souls of the deceased return to the world of the living. But the celebration usually begins on October 28, and from that date on, each day is dedicated to a different type of death, for example, death by accident or children who died before being baptized. November 1 is All Saints' Day, in honor of those who led a virtuous life, especially children.
